How to get shutter count on a 50D?

karen wiltshire , Jan 09, 2012; 08:12 a.m.

Can someone recommend the best software to get the shutter count of my well loved 50D please. I use a Mac so prefer it to be able to run on my Mac rather than my PC. Thanks

EOSinfo is the best method I've ever found but I use a PC, the author also has '40D Shutter Count' (which works on Macs) posted.

Should say, 40D Shutter Count is supposed to work on the 50D also. ;-)
