a photographer. I have tried quitting, but i cant ignore beautiful light, or the way the clouds look, or an interesting person, who would be perfect for a photo. And sooner or later,I always pick my camera back up, and attempt to satisfy my hunger to take interesting photos. Is there a photoholics class available.

What would the 12-step program be like?
Photoholism surely has a analogous problem with the price of the glass.

If you're a visually oriented person there's no cure for the urge to capture what you see. Try carrying a sketch book and pencils for sketching. After awhile you'll appreciate photography again.

This is like asking how to quit drugs in a crack house?
What would the 12-step program be like?
Ineffective.

Is there a photoholics class available.
Probably not necessary.
Maybe just do some volunteering at a local drug or alcohol rehab facility. Will provide some perspective on addiction and may help your own situation.

What would the 12-step program be like?
Wouldn't the number of steps ("stops") in the program depend on whether John shoots digital or film, color or B&W? :)
