Hi. Is anyone out there still shooting 127? I have had a fun little Brownie Bullet for years on a shelf and it just sat. I was never interested in shooting 127, but today it really clicked, and I am really really excited! I just ordered some Efke R100 from Freestyle. I got looking, and there are some really awesome 127 cameras!

Vest Pocket Kodak's are awesome little cameres, especially the focusing versions. Really incredible size and mass to negative size ratio, you get a 4x6.5cm negative.

Have a 4x4 Yashica TLR. A Zeiss 3x4, and I do have a vest pocket. But, I need to make a new bellows for it.

I don't use it but I only have one camera that takes it. A Brownie Holiday Flash. I let my son play with it....
Anyway someone out there keeps useing because Efke keeps making. The guy at a local camera shop tries to sell me some every time I go in. He ordered a brick for a fella who never came back to buy anyway.
Its sad, as you say there are some nice 127 cameras out there. I had a really nice Yashica 44LM that I had to let go because at the time I could not find the film...and when you can you are limited to basicly one kind and it aint cheap.

I really wish someone slit Ektachrome to 127. I can get Fuji slide film, but I am not a Fuji fan. I have my great grandmother's 127 slides and they are awesome projected since they are bigger than 35mm.

Still shoot Efke Infrared in a Yashica 44LM. Small, beautiful little cameras that make big negatives. I agree that 127 "super slides" rocked! Hard to find the mounts anymore.

Patrick: There's a guy on e*ay with the handle "xkaes" who sells do-it-yourself film slitters for $35. Mostly these are for cutting 120 down to smaller formats, but he did a special order for me for a slitter that will cut 105mm microfiche down to 91mm so I could make my own 122. He will gladly sell you a slitter to make 127 out of 120, which will pay for itself by the third roll.
Not sure what you're going to do about the frame numbers, though. If you want 4x4 frames (12 exposures), you could line it up at the bottom of the 120 film and use the numbers for 6x9, which line right up with the odd numbers on the 127 backing; you just have to interpolate the even numbers in between. If you want 4x6 (8 exposures), you would have to put two blades in and cut off a strip from both edges, leaving the center which would make the 6x6 numbers fall in the right place. Or you could just count turns, I suppose.

I was able to have ordered 127 and 828 glass slide mounts through my local camera store. Had to order several of each. Gepe still makes them. I have cut 120 E6 film to 127. But, having several 6x6 cameras.I just cut my slides down to 4x4.

I have a Kodak Autographic Vest Pocket that I have yet to use (No WW1 living history events to take it to), And there are 2 rolls of Efke in the fridge.
I need to check if the bellows are light-tight after my last repair attempt.
