Strao for my new toy

Ed Birch , Nov 20, 2009; 03:50 p.m.

The newest member of my classic collection arrived today. A beautiful Koni-Omega Rapid. It's the earlier model before the dark slide, and besides a few minor scrapes near the tripod socket, it's just about new condition. The shutter needs excercize too, but I think one, or two rolls will get it back in shape. Any one know a good place to get a "close to original" strap for it? Thanks, and I'll post some shots as soon as I shoot a roll, and get my desk top working again.

I wouldn't worry too much about an original strap as it would likely be thin and uncomfortable. Get a nice wide, well padded strap. I use one of thos old guitar style straps with an added clip-on shoulder pad with my Rapid M, which works pretty well.

Greg Weber has all kind of parts for the Koni-Omega cameras. You can reach him at (402) 721-3873 or at gweber@webercamera.com.

I'll post a pic of her tomorrow. More camera porn. Maybe a pic of my Ziev too.
