Epson 10000XL?

I haven't found any reference to Epson's new 10000XL scanner. Is it not up to snuff as a film scanner? Or is it it just too new? Cheers.

I'm interested to know too. This forum is saturated with the V750 evaluation. If someone could do the same - post sample scans, talked about pros and cons, compared with other rivals (Microtek's pro flatbed-film series) for the Epson 1000XL PHOTO that will be great.

I think Digital Photo Pro magazine has done a review some months back. In the current issue (Feb 2007), it has reviewed the V750 (article not available online) and in it, the tester mentioned something along the line: V750's scans can compete with those from the 1000XL but the latter still yields more details, especially in highlight and shadow.

So the question is by how much more details and is it worth the extra grand or two...
