I have the video card on Mobile Intel(R) 945/950 Express Chipset Family, it is a built in the motherboard.
When I tried to calibrate my monitor, something strange happens, maybe someone can help.
The driver for this video-card comes with a software. When you do right-click on the desktop, you got 2
additional items: graphics characteristics and graphics parameters. The first one is essentially Intel Graphics
Media Accelerator Driver where you can change Gamma, Colors etc. The same you can get if you go to the
properties/settings/advanced
see the picture below, bottom tab.

1) I do not change anything in the video card properties through the software mentioned above.
2) i calibrate the monitor using i1d2. The profile is created.
3) restart the comp.
the result: When the Windows starts, there is a blink, and the colors are changed (presumably the profile created
by i1d2 loads). Then, when I go to properties of the graphics, just open the application (right-click, graphics
properties) and do nothing there, only say OK, the screen blinks again, and I get different colors.
The Question: Which one is correct, before or after going to the properties? Why does it happen? Do I overload
profiles? How do I get rid of the software form intel (I just want simple display properties, where I can see the
profiles loaded and the drivers).
I do have the same problem with both, my laptop, and my workstation from job. Maybe someone already had the
problem and figured out the solution.
ps: change the card, do not calibrate a laptop etc, just does not work :)
Thanks
