If anyone has a fix for this I will be your friend for life. I'm still waiting on HP to get back to me.
Okay, it all started with horizontal lines appearing in the black areas of my prints. After much corrospondence, HP
finally told me to update the firmware, which I did. Good news, no more lines. Bad news, my color is all wrong (dark
and greenish)
So, I immediatly checked all my Photoshop settings. They are all the same as before. Photoshop manages the
colors and the printer is set to "application manages colors." My workspace and print output are all set the same
(adobe 1998)
Next, I tried an experiment. I opened the HP print program and printed the image from there setting the printer to
Adobe 1998. It came out fine. Then I did it again set to "application managed color"... it came out bad.
Next, I opened photoshop and set the printer to adobe 1998. Good print. "Application managed color" bad print.
So, that's where I am now. Keep in mind that prior to this problem everything worked great and I have calibrated my
monitor, etc.

Get rid of "application manage colors" and set it to the color space in your camera and PS, if that's what you use. Voila!

You may want to also run the calibration routine in the printer menu.
