Epson 9900 workflow recommendations

I am looking at an Epson 9900 to print under Snow Leopard but am unsure of what may be a good starting point for general printing, where saturated colors are more important than mid-tone accuracy. Can anyone offer advice on settings for initial testing of factory profiles, before building and editing my own? Thanks to all!

Follow Epson's directions and use the recommended driver settings and profiles for each type of Epson paper. If you want saturated colors over accurate consider printing using the saturation rendering intent (over perceptual or rel. colormetric).
