Adam Mueller , Sep 06, 2010; 05:53 a.m.

........literally studio shots, Brown skin rapper in a yellow and black coat. The other is a white skinned girl with tattooed legs.
Any one have some ideas for post processing?
The shots are high key and waist up with a white background.

How will the images be used? Is their anything about them that you're seeing as a problem, somehow? Post work is driven by the need to correct problems, or by your creative requirements. Are these images the clients requested? You can see how hard it is to make suggestions without knowing more about what's going on.

It's for a friend. We were just messing about. :-) But I use images I take of friends as a point of improving skill without pressure.
They seem ok, but was just wondering whether there is anything I can do to give it more punch :-)

Thanks Matt :-)

Well, it's kind of hard to say what would improve the images without seeing them, or without you linking to some other images that have the look you're after. It will also help if you mention what software you're using, and what sort of latitude you have in the files (did you shoot RAW, for example?).

They look kind of like this but alot sharper and the image is more high key.

Was shot on a 5D mk 2, Shutter: 100, Aperture: 13, ISO 160. two flash heads, one at 45 degree angle facing down from the right. The otehr was a softbox pointing at the wall opposite to the model on the left.
I am sorry I aleave for work early in the morning and go to sleep early so usually forget to load them up to my external.
And yes it was shot in RAW. Histogram is shaped like the image in the link below although the dark and light mounds are right up against the edge (If that helps)

In the histogram link, its the top image i am referring to.

Brett Cole , Sep 06, 2010; 10:29 a.m.

Adam, you can type a word, then click on the link button (the little chain link icon) and assign that link to the word.
Also, why don't you just post the photos you took. Makes a lot more sense if you're asking for input on how to process them.

Adam Mueller , Sep 06, 2010; 11:31 a.m.

I can do, but as i said, usually forget to load them up when at home. Will try tonight. Can you remove the images after posting them?

Brett Cole , Sep 06, 2010; 12:11 p.m.

Not if you attach them at the end of your post. If you put them on your server and then embed them in the post using the picture icon you can then later delete them from your server, which will effectively remove them from the post.
