Best place for developing film in Milwaukee?

R. Moreno , Aug 25, 2004; 08:42 a.m.

I am looking for the best place for developing slide and color negative film in Milwaukee. I have 5 irreplaceable rolls of film. I'm writing from the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and hopefully there is a very good place for developing nearby. Thank you.

As far as I know, the only professional option for slide AND film is Allan-Knox. They're commercial photographers of extremely high caliber, and while they've changed over to digital in studio, they still process slide and neg for their clients who use film.

If you speak with them, let them know the irreplaceable nature of the film - it never hurts to mention that - even though they should do their best even if it was re-shootable.

They have done great work in the past and are a featured provider in Kodak proshots. They are not open on weekends, but courier services are available in Milwaukee. Their home office is not far from Brewer Stadium, in an industrial area.

Magnificent!

I went to Apollo Imagizing and although there were a few delays, the results were great. Thanks for the recommendation.
