I want to make an intervalometer for my Canon 300D because I want to
make a time laps movie. I do not want to by Canon TC-80N3 because it
costs about $200 in our town and it is too expensive for me. Does any
body know where I can obtain an electronic scheme for the
intervalometer?
I think this topic will be useful and interesting for many people :)

You can use your remote capture software, which came for free with your camera.

Assuming you've got some soldering skills and gear, go to a local radio store (or search online) and get a cheap interval timer kit, try to get one you can run on a single 9V battery.
See http://www.camerahacker.com/RS60-E3_pin-out/pin-out.html for the type of plug you need and which pins to short.
Shouldn't cost you more that $10-20 to build it yourself!

Check harbortronics.com, they have pretty cool intervalometers for most cameras.
I'll send my Nikon D70 to be modified next week.

I have some experience about the intervalometer. I made one for myself. The second circuit is being under construction. (with LCD) low power version, precision timing from 1sec to 99 hour 59 min 59 sec. with PIC microcontroller IC. ;-))
