Does anyone use the Lowepro Street and Field stuff?

Richard Sperry , Feb 08, 2012; 12:58 p.m.

This looks like exactly like what I want. I want to get my stuff off my back and make it more accessible. And to have a more modular pack. The belt pouch approach seems like it might work. It's not available at my local camera store, so I can't try it out before I buy it, which is something I try to avoid with stuff like this.

How does it work for you? Do you have the vest or the harness, how do you like it?

Any complaints?

How do you use it to carry your tripod, and is that comfortable to you?

FWIW Lowepro now calls this line "S&F." If you search for "Street & Field," you'll find far fewer items.

I decided I did not like hanging heavy items, e.g. Quantum Turbo battery, from my waist. A cross shoulder deal/brassard is more my comfy level for camera. I tried a few LowPro and some Kinesis belt deals. Both OK, with an edge to manufacture quality I feel to the Kinesis pouches. Limited experience. Yours may be totally different re belt items.....Google Kinesisgear to see their lineup. Aloha, gs
