I'm still hoping to find out (a) how to stop my "private" image title data from popping up in that annoying white type over
an image in my slide show in the site when someone holds a cursor over it, I thought this had happened before because
I had loaded filenames with the files, but I have recently loaded a large number of slides to my "farm country" page ad
specifically did not place either a tag nor a name with those images when I loaded them to ensure nothing like that
showed up, but it still pulls up my internal filename regardless. That filename data is not intended for, nor needed by the
public sent to my website and there is no point designing a site with dark grey background and a specific typesetyle etc
and then having that white type show up, it over-rides and detracts from all the work spent designing the site. (b) if there
are instructions on how to have multiple page layouts within the site (C) if there is a way to stop that one 'arrow' beside
the images on the website from taking people out of the actual website and into the photonet area instead. ? Thanks.

1. The easiest solution is to change your filenames before you upload. Make a duplicate folder and just name the files 1.jpg 2.jpg etc.
2. That is not possible at this time.
3. I cannot repeat this error. Can you explain a bit more where you are seeing it? If you can get a screenshot, please send it to me at contact@photo.net.
And I apologize for the delayed response to your thread. I somehow missed the email alert when it was posted.

re (2) no sweat, would have been a nice added touch, can live without it re (1) i can do that of course if i
take an entire folder and run it as a batch process thru photoshop before I load them all, once I've begun
that tho, it means tracking a separate id number when i load one at a time, still do-able, "but" it's not a
matter of "what info" the client sees, it just strikes me as an annoying white thing popping up on a well
designed page..... "however"... in defense of the person who designed it, I can fully see why it's there
and in fact, although I build specifically identifiable and titled slides for my paintings, it could prove
useful in some categories ie "which" photo of a farm combine in action is someone referring to.... re
(3), I'll play with that this afternoon and get back on it... re the apology.... Josh, I run a one-man
operation and I'm always behind, you're running a site with a couple of hundred thousand members, you
never have to apologize to me for not providing an "instant takeout window" response time..... if you read
the statement i even have with my own contact page, I tell clients right there that it may even take me
more than a week just to answer their emails.... and every photographer out here who photos animals,
knows you have to have the patience to go lay in the dirt for hours just in the hope of getting a photo, so
every one of us has patience...............none of this is "life or death", no apology needed....
oh, you know what you may be missing re item (3).... if you're looking at my website in today's
configuration you won't see the problem because I took all the "coolIris" slide shows off the site to
eliminate the problem, everything on the site now is in the other slide show format.... so... if you load
someone else's site who has CoolIris running... click on an image and bring it full screen.... right beside
the image, at the upper right hand corner, are a couple of icons you can click on, one of em if I recall
sends the image to facebook or some such thing (i didnt try it), but the other one, a diagonal arrow
facing up-right, click on it and it takes you to the slideshow of images inside photo, net, the one on the
white background and gives you a 'click-on' option to view the photographers full folio etc... taking a
client in there, is deadly.... the reason for having a website with charcoal grounds etc is for the look,
and to control how nicely the client sees it etc.... without that, i might as well just have a business card
which takes them directly into the photonet area..... i'll actually go from here to my site and load a new
CoolIris slideshow for you to play with.... in "equestrian", it has only a few images.....
