Photo Inspiration

Where do you get your drive to create as a photographer? Emerging professional photographers are excited to discover what they can photograph that will also allow them to travel and meet interesting people, in addition to money and fame. Seasoned professional photographers want to know why they are not as excited about their photography work as they once were, and why a career that is considered envious by most is now run-of-the-mill for them. The simple fact of the matter is that as long as we choose a career in a creative field we are committed to a life based on change. As Tony Luna states in his 2-part series on How to Rediscover your Passion for Photography, we have to be vigilant about tending the flame of passion in our lives, and that passion is a very delicate commodity that has to be treated with patience, discovery and enthusiasm. Reading interviews on professional photographers who "made it" can also be inspiring: Jodi Cobb, Peter Menzel, and Harold Davis.
