Delta International : Delta Intn'l is A #1

Excellent service, incredible price, and quick shipping. I bought a Nikon LS 8000 which were in high demand and low supply at the time. Delta not only had it, but had it at an unbelievable price. I was ready for a run around, bate and switch or the wrong item shipped, but none of that happened. They had it in stock (like they said they did), it was new in the box (albeit; not USA, but with a third party 3-yr US warranty... I'll let you know if I have any problems with that if it comes up in the near future), and it shipped the same day and arrived the next day for an unbeilvable $30 in shipping. The equipment arrived and installed without a problem (although, I am dealing with Nikon about the CD with the third party software. Although it says that it has Mac and PC on it, it only had PC. Hoping to get them to send a CD with the software). I will do business with them in the future and highly recommend them for equipment purchases.

Nikon is notorius for not supporting grey market. My friend has a 990 Coolpix and bought a cable release for $125 and it didn't work. He called tech support and the first thing they asked was the serial number to see if it was grey. He got the help because he has a USA Coolpix (it needed a firmware update. Pay $125 and expect it to work out of the box, ha!).

Back to your scanner. I doubt Nikon will give you the Mac software. It is odd though; the scanner might not have been made to sell in the USA but people do have Mac's in other countries. Nikon USA will not repair a grey market product even if you pay them. The F-100 and F-5 can't be repaired by someone else because they do not sell the parts to repair places. And I just found this out about Mack and how they repair digital cameras: THEY SEND IT TO THE MANUFACTURER AND PAY THEM USING THE MONEY THEY MADE BY SELLING WARRANTY'S TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T USE THEM!!! That means if Mack sends a grey market camera to Nikon to be repaired, Nikon will send it back unrepaired :(

Please update your post and let us know if you get the software and tech support.
