Hi, Have a D80 and a would like to try digiscoping -is it possible to connect it to my eagle optics raven spotting scope for bird photography? Thanks for your help!

Nikon makes some adapters for digiscoping with their fieldscopes using some Coopix, 35mm SLRs and dSLRs. My catalog is two or three years old so you should check Nikon's website for the most current information.

I too have a Nikon D80 and I digiscope with it using a Nikon FSA-L1 to connect to my Nikon 82mm ED Fieldscope. I would think that the scope you mentioned would accept this screw-in connecting piece (which is used in place of an eyepiece), since eyepiece fittings are pretty standard. However, you might just want to send an e-mail off to Eagle Optics and ask. They have a resident expert on digiscoping, Michael McDowell (information@eagleoptics.com).
