I`d like to remind you to specify which Nikon equipment you have used on your pic. There is some feedback that some people enjoy and learn more when they know which camera, lens and/or accesories. Some even want exposure info (it can be sometimes checked at the EXIF, thought).
As suggested for better interpretation, from now on this will be the Nikon WedNEsDAy PiC.
Thank you all!!

Hi all. This is not the pic I first intended to post but after some threads about wide angle lenses I opted for this "postcard type" image... ithas been taken two weeks ago, at dusk, with 14-24AFS at 14mm wide open. Matrix exposure compesated by -1EV, 1/125sec. at 1600ISO.
I was impressed by the contrast displayed at the camera screen, I expected nothing but a dark, flat image.
Cropped just a bit at the bottom, sharpness ruined with my lack of processing skills and highly out-of-date Photoshop version.

Please feel free to post you Nikon pic if you like. You`re at the right place! Thanks all, specially to our moderator Lex for his dedication and help.

Great. I forgot to mention that my camera was a D700, with all its camera tricks off.
Thanks Simon. Yours could be also used for postcards. :)

Sorry I only shot film last week and it's still in the FM2 so you'll have to make do with one from the week before that I processed.

Good morning!
This week was only a snap-shot week, but nothing worth posting. So I had to go back to my archives and dig this one out, taken last year, well before the D700 came =)
Nikon F4, AF-D 50 f/1.8, Fuji Velvia 50, exposure not recorded. Scanned with Epson V200, processed in LR2.

Hi,
Jose, nice postcard, where was it taken?
Simon, nice closeup, is that compression a bit high or is it me?
Bernard, perfect moment

I love this thread, so many different people, countries and cultures. A real inspiration.
This week I have a picture of a car. It's an old Morgan that belongs to a
friend of the family. He visited us in the winter when it was a bit cold, but
he had the top off the car. With one of those old pilot hats on his head.
Picture was taken with the D90, nikon 18-200mm at 60mm F4.8 converted to B/W in Lightroom.
I hope you like it.
