Lee Filter question

Jim Hardin , Jul 29, 2010; 09:23 a.m.

I have a Nikon D-200 and two months back I purchased a set of three Lee Grad ND filters. I still can't find the 77mm adapter ring to place them on my lens. Everywhere I look on the internet it says backordered. Does anyone know where I can buy the adapter ring? Thanks Jim

did you check w/ 2filter.com ?

perhaps a different brand of adaptor ring can be used; most of them just slide the filter holder on

Jim,
I may have one (or more) I could sell to you - I will need to look at home later to see if it is still where I think it is. After years of getting through Canons, Nikons, Hasselblads, Mamiyas etc I have about 20 rings of different sizes and iterations (normal, wide angle, super wide angle etc). Which one/ones do you need?
I am in the UK by the way.

James

Which lens?

Does B&H not have them?

I have a couple but none for sale. ;-)

Thanks to everyone, I had an order from almost two months for the ring through 2Filters, I am on the list for B&H. (Still waiting). It is very poor that you pay so much for their filters and then for months you can't get the ring. Probably the last thing I buy from Lee.

Have you checked local stores?

77mm is a popular size. Have you checked on Ebay? Somebody must be selling one. Have you contacted Lee directly to see if they're expecting any new shipments? Have you tried the following retailers?

Badger Graphic
Midwest Photo Exchange
Calumet Photo
Adorama

Have you contacted James S. (see post above)?
