I gotta say that counts as, err, casual! A £10 shower cover would keep that camera & lens body protected. OK, the front is going to get crusty, but that's not usually a problem if you have a protective filter. Is that a 70-200mm on a D3?

I am not sure, but I would guess that it is too small to be a 70-200mm, but given where his right hand is (the one you can not see) I would say d3 is a good guess.

Perspective is a funny thing in a White-Out!! :-)

Hang on, is that little white bit where the pop-up would be, not snow? That's a D2!!

Michael Bradtke , Feb 08, 2012; 04:47 p.m.

Yep its a D2x probably I could not see some one bringing a D2h to shooot that kind of stuff.

D200 with a 17-55, read down the page a bit on the right....

Ice on the glass?

David L , Feb 08, 2012; 07:59 p.m.

Regarding the note down the page on the right, I think a D200 and 17-55 are the combination that took the picture we see posted, and not what are in the picture.

It's not a D200. The D200 does not have a White Balance sensor on the prism
