P7000 wide conversion lens

Has anyone here used the wide angle conversion lens on their P7000 or P7100? If you have, I want to know if it has objectionable distortion or CA.

Yes to both (depends on the standards though). Add corner softness, which is worst to correct with software.

Yeah, it's fun to play with but TERRIBLE quality. Only the VERY CENTER has any clarity at all. I paid $100-125 as I remember. I traded it back in on a Tamron 18-270mm. Much better, but nearly as wide. Generally speaking the wide angle converter is a toy. Not a serious lens. Oh, to have the Nikon 10-24! What a great lens!
