Some unusual question, I suppose , but maybe someone has done this test, or has the experience with both
Both systems are compact (I am looking for this) .
The Contax has splendid lenses ,f2 or f2.8 , 21mm widest
the m4/3 have IS.Zuiko 9-18 , Pana 7-14 from f4
price of 21+28(or 35) between the 9-18 and 7-14
Both systems have AF.
the m4/3 have lifeview, and instant acces to the taken image.
the contaxG1 is around 130-150 $ the G2 200-400 , the m4/3 bodies around 250-800 $
The Contax benefits of the larger dynamic range of the negative film , the m4/3 is somewhat prone to a smaller dynamic range
So, after all , where is the answer ?

What is/are the question(s)? If the question is what should you buy...no one would have the answer but you.

Interesting conundrum. I haven't yet made up my mind on micro4/3, but from what I've seen and read in several months of discussions and analyses, I like the E-P2, but I'm still waiting for refinement of several features (perhaps in 2011). Anyway, here's a link to a very active MFT forum which may shed some light onto your inquiry: www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=146

I like the results from my Lumix G-1. What else can one say. Back to film, no I think not. I have a nice auto Konica Auto RF Hexar. I ought to sell it, tho it sure is pretty to look at. Has a Contax G clip type lens cover I added. Good luck in the shopping decision.

Tough decision , Gerry, indeed
