Happy Halloween by Dominick Marino | 2014-10-31
Landscape

My wife and I were walking along a Mui beach when we encountered this abandoned construction site. The concrete piles were covered with an unusual art form. I snapped a shot with my cell phone. Later in photoshop I converted to B+W and painted in the art to set it apart. I considered going back at night and doing some light painting, but No WAAY ;-) Thanks for looking.

Nubble Lighthouse - Maine by Tony Hadley | 2014-10-31
Landscape

Tanks.

The Cape Neddick Lighthouse stands on Nubble Island about 100 yards (91 m) off Cape Neddick Point. It is commonly known as Nubble Light or simply The Nubble. Cape Neddick Point is at the north end of Long Sands Beach in the village of York Beach. The lighthouse is inaccessible to the general public, but the nearby mainland is occupied by Sohier Park which offers a telescope with which to view the lighthouse and a gift shop with a "Nubble" theme. This was taken with a sigma 10-20mm lens.

Latourell Falls by Craig Allen | 2014-10-31

Latourell Falls in Eagle Creek Wilderness is a tough falls to shoot because you have such a limit area to shoot from. This viewpoint is literally cut out of the side of a cliff. This is a B&W conversion of a previously posted color image. I'm very interested in what you think, especially compared to the color version. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Mamquam Mountain at Sunset - COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK WELCOME! by Cory Sine | 2014-10-31
Landscape

This was shot RAW using the HDR method with a Canon 60D before processing in Lightroom 3.6. It is part of my portfolio and I am considering it for enlargement into a photo-canvas for upcoming shows. Any feedback, criticism, and advice that people might have is greatly appreciated. I am aware of the small patch of snow to the right of the central peaks that is a little too white because of de-saturation. I will correct that in future prints and canvases.

Trick or treat... by Dimitris Vasiliou | 2014-10-31
Humor

As I write this introduction the door bell is ringing with children dressed up for Halloween normally accompanied by their parents and my wife runs and opens the door..'trick or treat', they shout. It was fifteen years ago that the doorbell rang and you can imagine her surprise when she opened the door...I heard her scream...I ran downstairs.. and I nearly died of laughter. Two of my friends and neighbors were at the doorstep dressed in drag. They borrowed most of their props from their wives and they came to give me a laugh...I hope it will make you laugh as well...-:)

Thank you for viewing and laughing....:-).

Mount Alpha - COMMENTS AND CRITICISM WELCOME! by Cory Sine | 2014-10-31
Landscape

This image was shot RAW using the HDR method with a Canon 60D and processed in Lightroom 3.6. Personally, I consider it one of my better mountain portraits and have a print of it in my portfolio. I'm considering it for significant enlargement into a canvas-print for future shows. Any criticism and feedback that might help me make it a better photo would be greatly appreciated.

Driftwood at Dusk - COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK WELCOME! by Cory Sine | 2014-10-31
Nature

This was shot combining the detail of my 50mm Canon Macro lens with the HDR method using a Canon 60D and was processed in Lightroom 3.6. I have made it part of my portfolio and am considering it for enlargement into a canvas print for future shows. I worry about the deep reds being a bit too saturated and would greatly appreciate any advice, criticism, and help anyone has.
