OK...

Me gusta tu punto de vista... directo, sin disfraces, y para mi, un punto "melancolico"... Que sigas asi.

mOrer.

Thanks for taking the time to rate my photo and also thanks for the good score. Today was my first day posting pictures for critiques and the results were a little disheartening. However, all the low scores were anonymous (how does that work anyway?) and the two persons that left their names were much kinder in their evaluation. I checked out your portfolio and think I understand why you liked the picture. Your work is constantly interesting, full of mystery and very well executed. I'll be keeping up with you efforts. Good luck and thanks again, Jack

Greetings

Thank you for the kind words you left on my B&W landscape of Mt. Rainier. It means even more now that I have seen your outstanding B&W photos. I especially like the one of the fenced bridge. The lines and shapes are beautifully complex.

Jack McRitchie , November 09, 2005; 12:38 A.M.

New Material

A great collection of new material, Maxime, some of your best work, I think. Regards, Jack

intresting portfolio, very personal way to watch at the things, I too see a subtle melancholy between those long shadows... ciao

George Welcher , February 08, 2006; 05:58 P.M.

..where the shadows lie.

Really nice work Maxime. Makes me very nostalgic for Montr顬, where I first started using a camera. Your pictures have an strong sense of place. Thanks for the critique, and for making a virtue of what I was seeing as a flaw (graininess).

Brian Kravets , February 09, 2006; 02:20 A.M.

Your portfolio is inspiring. I love the locations as well. I'm guessing Italy, or at least somewhere in Europe. I'm heading out there this summer and I can only hope to capture such moments as you have here. Thanks for sharing Maxime!

Milos Mashed , March 14, 2007; 03:38 P.M.

Dear Maxime:

You have great eye to create art.Cannot say enough about your gallery. Nice technique, great ideas behind them and a wonderful dept in images appears which create a class of your own. Congrats to you and to them for the wonderful body of work that you have presented here. The images transcend the subject and move into a highly personal area that's endlessly satisfying to look at. I can see your hand behind every one of these images. You seem to have a firm grasp on the indefinable quality that rises rote pictures to the level of pure artistry. The use of colors, textures, lighting and pose are spot on in the vast majority of images in your portfolio. Thanks... you are great artist. I look forward to seeing more.

Maxime Boisvert , March 15, 2007; 11:25 A.M.

Thank you a lot Milos for your comments. Your words are of great encouragement, even more because I find myself a bit vulnerable, exposing all my picture on this web site. It's always nice to see that my work drew the attention of someone, even if I repeat to myself that I'm not here to receive nice comments, but for the exchanges on photography and art with other artists.

Your words were very appreciated, coming from someone like you who seems to have great creative talents.

Alija Kamber , March 16, 2007; 12:51 P.M.

I just love when

somebody makes my day. Your port is incredible ( this word is not enough ). I love when photography wins. In your case it does. Its a dream its life its street its the story its a movie its photography as it should be. Modernistic + traditional = incredible mutation.

Much love from Bosnia.

J'aime beaucoup ton oeil sur le milieu urbain et ta ville, on sent presque de la tendresse pour montreal. Et continue avec les visages et les corps, c'est beau et tr賠humain. Bonne continuation, pace e salute, ࠢientot. Marianne

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.

Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting

Ken

Wonderful work!

Hi Maxime, Wonderful and creative work! Thx for sharing.

John Graham , January 17, 2008; 02:36 P.M.

hi

Phenmomenal portfolio! You see some really clever lines in your work. The dancer series is very sexy without being overstated. Well done

Evan Lavine , January 22, 2008; 12:40 P.M.

Inspiring

and beautiful is your portfolio, Maxime. I am glad you left me a critique or I might have missed this chance to browse through your works. I perused but will spend more time looking at individual pictures of yours.

You have a great control of color and singling out space and openess in lots of your photos. Your abstracts are stunning and street is poignant.

Thanks, Evan

Dave Hollander , February 06, 2008; 06:49 A.M.

I jumped into your portfolio from Jack McRitchie's and had a wonderful time here. Your work is insightful skillful and varied. I'll be coming back again and again.

Marco Vergano , April 07, 2008; 07:22 A.M.

Maxime, you have an excellent portfolio, one of the most underrated on PN! Your photos have a strong personality and a very original style. Empty spaces and city views are my favourite galleries. Regards, Marco

Jack McRitchie , May 03, 2008; 07:23 P.M.

Maxime

You seem to labor in obscurity, at least here on photo.net. I just want to say that your latest series, "Rationality" is probably the most fully and beautifully developed series as I have yet encountered on this site. It is certainly worthy of exhibition. Wonderful work. Best regards, Jack

Maxime Boisvert , May 06, 2008; 01:17 P.M.

Thanks

Jack, this goes straight to my heart. Thanks.
