Great!

Congratulations Chris, you have a very good set of REAL pictures with a "surreal" touch!

Riley F. , January 12, 2006; 08:28 P.M.

excellent

great stuff, very creative. So is that you in all the nudes?? i believe there is a whole other world to photographing oneself. a majority of photographers believe that you can only photograph what is in front of the lens and forget who is behind it.

Louis McCullagh - Belfast , February 05, 2006; 07:14 A.M.

Hi

i Liked the abstact flora and street shots. Different shots but simple.

Anupam Basu , March 04, 2006; 09:50 P.M.

Beautiful portfolio. It's not often that one finds an original outlook on familiar things and you seem to do just that with supreme ease.

Lionel Dupre , March 24, 2006; 05:06 P.M.

You are an artist who does not only show pictures. You show emotions, feelings, and attitudes.

You ask us to think. You force us to stop the inferno rythm of life and wonder about the sense of it.

Your images give a start of a referential for what's great, compared to the box we live in.

Thank you.

Michael Raddatz , June 27, 2006; 06:28 A.M.

Guillaume Guitard , July 13, 2006; 03:02 P.M.

You have an eye for orignal point of view an composition. Some really nice stuff you present here. I Specialy like the autoportrait and portrait folders.

Juan De Santa Anna , September 18, 2006; 11:03 P.M.

Hey Chris you got balls...oh no pun intended...can't believe I was the first to write that! No really your courage to put your self out there in your self portrait may only be second to the quality of you portfolio...Your compositions and use of color and B&W is just great! Keep up the good work! Juan

hi, you have a very rich, various, beautiful portfolio!! esp. the photo of the 'leg and hand''Wassily Fetish' that hand seems so fragile, tells so much, t's also a very interestng photo qua B/W or dark & light composition. Also like nudes with pearls and shadow photos, Congratulations, regards, An

Fred Goldsmith , January 25, 2007; 03:43 A.M.

inspiring portfolio

Chris, I'm a newcomer to the site and a relatively new photographer. I was directed to your site by a good friend. Your work is fascinating and seems very original to me. I like the way you handle most subjects and am particularly partial to your "beauty" and "self-portraits" section. I think I will be influenced in a very positive way by your work.

Maria Paula Langer , January 29, 2007; 05:25 P.M.

Congratulations

The best: Your street pictures. Outstandings

Pavle Marjanovic , January 31, 2007; 07:03 A.M.

Bravo, maestro!

Art Meripol , January 31, 2007; 09:07 P.M.

luminous!

superior, luminous work. Maybe the most developed sense of style and viewpoint I've seen on PN. Glad I found your work.

Fred Goldsmith , February 03, 2007; 10:40 A.M.

Thanks Chris

Chris, thanks for stopping by some of my photos and commenting. I'm so glad you looked at things from the perspective you did, mostly how the photo feels to you and the emotion I may have conveyed as opposed to commenting on the details that so many choose to, like a crop here or there, or the suggestion to stamp out something they find extraneous. Your comments, as I would have suspected from your work, are insightful and mean a lot to me. Appreciate it. Stop by any time.

Jack Floyd , February 03, 2007; 08:01 P.M.

Fine portfolio as a whole, but I'm especially impressed with the underwater shots, inventive, well lit and shot, and very striking

Alija Kamber , February 06, 2007; 08:07 A.M.

You are an artist...

...thats for sure. Great. When you have time you try to find Adnan Pozderovic on the web, not on the photo.net, he is the only one to have underwaters this good.

C. Daunis , February 17, 2007; 07:54 A.M.

Tony

Thanks for your support, Tony. And, in answer to your question, I smile when I'm not happy to show that I am not afraid (even when I am).

Nic Bower , February 18, 2007; 04:12 A.M.

Art Meripol , February 22, 2007; 09:45 P.M.

I keep coming back, keep lingering over the underwater work.

Chris Nies , February 24, 2007; 11:41 P.M.

blown away

Hi Chris I was doing a net search on my own name and came across your photos, wow ... they are terrific. I've been into photography only a short while and to find a photographer with my name as well.. it took me by surprise. I love your self portraits, very interesting and well done. I only hope I can do as well.

This is one very special

Portfolio... Really outstanding, congratulations!

Maurizio Moro , December 16, 2007; 02:52 P.M.

Dear friend, Saturday night, the 8th of December, my wife and I, had a big incident with our car (head-on collision), and we are alive for miracle: anyway, these not good moments, become also good moments! indeed, in these occasions, we can understand that life is so breakable, for not being happy every day to awaken, drink a coffee, to smile, to make love and other simple things, to meet people and, why not, to do photographs! For doing these things we don?t need a lot of money and power: we need only our life and the capacity for surprise of simple things. I have had a big gift, for this Xmas and the New Year, that is to say, I?m alive! and now, I know, I?ll love more life! My dear friend! I wish to you the same thing, namely, the ability to transform the accidents of life in happiness to live better and to give the proper value to your life and to that of other! Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!....Ciaomau!
