Your subject matter and compositions are awesome and moving. I see you love to post photos and you have many great shots but I would recommend that you spend just a little more time in post processing to get you shots to really "pop". I would understand if you like to keep each shot as you took them but if you do want to get more out of your shots you still can. I will certainly come visit in the future.

I'm fascinated from all your photos and the composition of the whole portfolio...awesome! You start with the "colour/texture" folder like a colour test on a painter palette, and you use the full range of colours and gradation of tones through your photos. I love the subjects, the stories thy tell... I'm a new-comer in PN...but your portfolio is one of my favourit! You're not a photographer...you are a real artist!!!

Thanks for your comment on one of my photos (Amazon boats). I can imagine your problem with food in Amazon area. All the time I go to Amazon I am always worried about that. This time fortunately I didn?t had any problem. Our intestinal flora is not prepared for so different food as they have in Amazon, this is the problem. But the Amazon is a paradise for photography, I did a lot of shoots there.

Claire, I was quite taken with your images. Some of them involve a very powerful social commentary and kind of hit you in the gut. You've a keen eye for the land- and human-scapes around you. It's great to find a travel photographer who lends a fresh perspective to everything she sees. Since we have been to some of the same places it is especially interesting to see how you've approached various subjects. I particularly like your take on the Killing Fields and the associated museum. Your portraits are top-notch and the "stillbirth" folder very provacative.

Wow, I liked really your photos, also because we seem to share memories from same places like Cambodia, Thai, Laos, Malaysia.. It is a great part of the world, isnt? You have also visited in Kota Kinabalu! Have you been in the islands in Malaysia, especially Tioman? I strongly recommend it, so peaceful place.

The thing that makes your photos impressive, is the idea which is behind all of your works. Although you dont try to add any additional element which is belong to you , it's clear that each portfolio has only one creator. and I believe it's the only way to take a real artistic documentary photo.

Thanks for your comments of my 'Sweet memories'. and trough those I came to your strong portfolio. It's much more than just good pictures. It tells often a story of the people in the countries. You capture those with beauty but also with some emotion. One of the best for me in that respect are your Cuba images

Why don't you move the Colour/Texture/Light folder to first place? In my opinion in this folder you somehow anticipate the full range of colours the visitors can find in all others photos. It seems an essay of your full work. So it would make much more sense to me....just my view....

Looking through your portfolio (in response to your statement that it needs reviewing) reminds me of your grand talent, especially when travelling and seeing things freshly. Your work is compassionate, sensitive and telling. Your compositions are strong and your eye for detail is spot-on. You also have a sense of humour - a vital element if one is to stay sane in this mad world!

Although you may feel like rejecting some of your shared work (as I have done with some of mine) this will not detract from the learning experience gained by your sharing it, if you see what I mean?
