Hi Mark, Thanks for your nice comments on my italy pictures. I enjoyed viewing yours as well, especially the black and white shots from the top of the dome and the colosseum. I wish I knew they let people up there...oh well, I guess it gives me one more reason to go back.

I'll post more shots from my trip but for now I am limited to 5.

Mark, Since you had a couple of constructive comments about my pictures I tried to get even. Unfortunately I did not see even one picture that I could complain about. Great portfolio.

Great work - loved the 'abandoned' and 'other' series in particular and a few of the 'over there' shots ... if only I am being picky!

I am from the Monterey Bay area in California. Not such a bad place to be I suppose when it comes to photography.

... Seaside actually. Remember fishing in the Estero near the harbor as a five and six year old. Keep up the good work on the photography, Mark, look forward to seeing more.

Thank you for your recent comment on the steer wrestler picture. Oddly enough I was going to delete that image from my gallery recently and didn't get around to it. Coming from a photographer of your obvious talent, it is a compliment indeed. I do wish I could make money with photography, but I am a poor marketer. Anyway, you have a really nice gallery.

Thanks for the comment! I also agree that I don't like overdone HDR but this subject matter "asked" for it. Just wanted to be a bit more dramatic and somewhat unrealistic. The HDR for some other shots I used subtly for ex: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6873734 Thanks again for the comment on my war torn photo! You really have a great looking portfolio. I really like the architectural photos!

I don't think I've ever seen Rockport in b/w. The place takes on a completely different texture like that. You've got some nice Boston shots, such as the Reflecting Pool and Across the Charles. That's a surprising angle on the Hancock Tower. Nice.
