Hi
Your "St. Angel- Rome" led me here. I see you make photos full of subjects and details, and often with rich colours. While I prefer BW and simple subjects in my photography, I admit it is refreshing and educationally valuable to see others different work. And I found loads of good photos in your pf. Take care, a s l a

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your nice comments on my italy pictures. I enjoyed viewing yours as well, especially the black and white shots from the top of the dome and the colosseum. I wish I knew they let people up there...oh well, I guess it gives me one more reason to go back.
I'll post more shots from my trip but for now I am limited to 5.
Thanks again!

Mark,
Since you had a couple of constructive comments about my pictures I tried to get even. Unfortunately I did not see even one picture that I could complain about.
Great portfolio.

Great work - loved the 'abandoned' and 'other' series in particular and a few of the 'over there' shots ... if only I am being picky!

Takes Awhile!
I thought I would just stop in to your portfolio with a few extra minutes I had this morning and very quickly figured out that it is going to take awhile to absorb your wonderful images. I will be back . . . and will have comments.
Thanks for taking the time to view my work.

Mark, spotted you over on Theo Jacobs site ...
... thought I'd check out your portfolio. Like your architectural shots and your Boston shots the best (are you from the area? If so, we should get a whole gang of us together!).

I am from the Monterey Bay area in California. Not such a bad place to be I suppose when it comes to photography.

Ah, lived in Monterey as a kid ...
... Seaside actually. Remember fishing in the Estero near the harbor as a five and six year old. Keep up the good work on the photography, Mark, look forward to seeing more.

Hello Mark, Thank you for your comments and I appreciate totally what you said. hence the change in bio. You have a very nice portfolio yourself and I particularly like "Over There", "Abandoned" and "Other" folders. Your people shots are very good.
You have a nice camera too, just like mine.

Thank you for your recent comment on the steer wrestler picture. Oddly enough I was going to delete that image from my gallery recently and didn't get around to it. Coming from a photographer of your obvious talent, it is a compliment indeed. I do wish I could make money with photography, but I am a poor marketer. Anyway, you have a really nice gallery.

Thanks for the comment
Thanks for the comment! I also agree that I don't like overdone HDR but this subject matter "asked" for it. Just wanted to be a bit more dramatic and somewhat unrealistic. The HDR for some other shots I used subtly for ex: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6873734
Thanks again for the comment on my war torn photo!
You really have a great looking portfolio. I really like the architectural photos!

Hello Mark
I don't think I've ever seen Rockport in b/w. The place takes on a completely different texture like that. You've got some nice Boston shots, such as the Reflecting Pool and Across the Charles. That's a surprising angle on the Hancock Tower. Nice.

Maria

Hi Mark, I wanted to say thanks so much for the comments and advice you left on my shots. Your idea of "drought" being b/w is terrific, you've got an amazing talent for b/w. Your portfolio is fantastic!
Thanks again,
Amber

Hi, Mark
