I can't believe I haven't yet left a comment on your wonderful portfolio.
You have well defined style: colourful, bold with very strong compositions. And every photo is as good as the next (you are obviously very tough on yourself).
BTW I think you should include a humourous folder too, I know you have some good material.

Thanx for commenting on one of my photos (Meadow). I like what you did to the picture, I admit it was a little too dark before and the cropping improved the picture and put a little more focus on the barn.
By the way, great portfolio! Regards R.L.

To my great dismay I just realized that I have never commented on your portfolio. Everybody has already said everything that needed to be said, so I just agree with that. Suffice it to add we share a great love for the Apple Isle , except for the part with the worm in it , namely the Bluegum plantations that are replacing the natural countryside. Keep shooting in rapidfire mode , before it all disappears... Also, thanks for pointing out John McLaine's work, great stuff! Thanks , too, for good advice given...

Peater, thank you for your critique on my photo "Horses".
I need and desire criticual comments on my work because I am so close to images I produce that I tend to dismisses many obvious and not so obvious shortcomings. Fresh eyes help me to produce images that will be pleasing and draw out emotions from the viewers of my work. That is my desire for any and all photos that I post in public forums like Photo.net.
I always go to a commenter's portfolio and I can see that I have heard from someone that knows what he is talking about and you have the skill and talent to back up what you say. I feel honored that you have taken your time to comment on my work and I whole heartly invite you to critique any feature photo of mine that you might see.
Thank you

Thanks, Peter, your suggestion to crop more on my image "Yellow Rays" was just the ticket. It improved the picture tremendiously. I couldn't believe how the center of the flower stood out with your cut. It was the center that drew me to that flower in the first place. I do have to watch my croping. This is the second critique where someone showed me how more cropping will improve my pictures. So from now on I'm going to experement more with crops.
I thank you for taking the time for share with me some of your talent and I invite you to give more comments if you see any more of my submissions in the feature.
After reviewing your portfolio I can see I have received advice from someone who know what he is talking about.
Thanks
ed

Nature & nurture
It is refreshing to chance upon the work of another finding that what I see is a deep passion for nature and a longing to protect and give respect for her. I hear what you are saying that most of us do not see its real beauty, full potential but are wrapped up in what we can take & make from its resources. Maybe I am wrong but I think you are a fantastic individual with real feelings for what matters, a man that wears his heart in his chest and not on his arms like a cool tattoo. I know we have never really spoken Peter but when I have stopped to listen I have always admired what you have had to say.
Bless
Hugh
