This is beautiful Marielou; reminescent of a Georgia O'Keefe painting.

More lovely than any painting!
This image has Georgia O'Keefe beaten. It isn't a painting, it's better than a painting. C'est magnifique!

Wow!!!
What else is there to say? This is a GREAT photograph.

I typically pass by the thousands of flower macros on photo.net without as much as a second glance. Yhis one made me stop. I love the composition, the color, the depth.... This is the flower macro that all flower macros want to aspire to. Very well done.

This is one of the finest flower shots I've seen on photo.net (and unfortunately, I think I've seen 1000's)!!

Wow
You really capture the warmth of this flower very well. This is the kind of picture a flower-lover should have on the wall -- it makes the flower look so inviting and beautiful.

This is truly beautiful, Marielou. The texture of the petals is palpable.
Will Wilson , October 14, 2002; 02:26 A.M.
hmm. I love it here I think. I worried it might not look so great in a print. Have you printed this particular image Marielou? I feel like it would need to be really big. I love the composition. Im just cant figure out whether its a soft focus or a photoshop effect or what, thats giving it that soft warm texture.

Marielou, did you see someone did a copy of
this rose.....almost identical in color and shape.
You must purchase your rose's from the same shipper?

Tight cropping and monochromatic values make it a nice abstract. The picture is great like that but this is one of those to experiment with PS.

This is no ordinary flower shot. This is top-notch.
Michael Ward , October 22, 2002; 01:19 A.M.
This is about as perfect as it gets. Impossible to even think of an improvement.

Simplicity
We should all stop to smell the roses.
Too many photographers shy away from shooting roses. Everyone should pefect at least one rose shot in their career. This one is yours!
Nice work

This looks better large. Very soft texture
and beautiful contrast. Impressive folder too!
You get a 7/7 for this one.

By far the best looking rose I have seen on Photo.net. Check out my roses sometime!
