Nude from the 70's

An old neg I re-scanned and re-cropped. Love that 120 film for tonality.

Beautiful semi-abstract nude, the soft curves matched by gentle window-light and the B&W film.

You should scan some more of these...

 Best wishes,  Jonathan.

This is absolutely beautiful, Steve. I second the preceding motion.

May seem weird, but it reminds me of Edward Weston's peppers. I love the smoothness and form. To help improve, perhaps a bit of vignetting, and a bit of softening of what appears to be undergarment lines. I think this can be achieved in processing. Regards, Jeff

Thanks for stopping by, Jeff. If this were an Edward Weston, I don't think he would artificially "smooth" out the textures, heh heh. I do smooth out some of the skin textures when I do a portrait, even if the situation is "documentary," but in this nude I feel what texture is there is an interesting part of the moment.
