Driftwood and Pine

I liked the various textures here. What do you think?

Sheila, I'd be more in agreement with you if it weren't for the white area (sand?) on the right side of the frame that, because of it's color, just pulls the eye away from everything else.  Imagine if the shrubs on the left continued, in some fashion, to the right side of the photo.  You'd then have a twisted piece of wood dominating the photo, with bright yellow-green foliage providing color, and with bare limbs intruding here and there.  That would all be seen more effectively without the white.  IMO, of course.
