Yes und no

Hello Ofer, it`s natural und not natural setup. This picture was taken in Tropical Garden "Insel Mainau" (Germany). It is a tropical butterfly.Andreas Babik

Great use of macro. There are a few on photo.net entering macro shots with 90% of the frame out of focus and stating that it is art. They really need to see your images here to find out what art really is.

Very nice image, with great use of macro. However, it looks like there are several imperfections in the photo (those little dark spots) they might be from dust fragments on the lens. Otherwise, it looks great! Thanks for sharing.

beautiful

Very beautiful. Is the green color in the background natural, or you used a filter?

Tone down on the jpeg compression

The fringing on the outline of the butterfly is kind of nasty, but the detail on the bug is great!

Pretty cool. The dirt is probably from the scanner and not from the photo. I would suggest removing them with Photoshop - and probably you'd better upload a new version with higher JPEG quality, it's a pity that JPEG fringing on such a photo.

JPEG

Sorry :-) ... I am uploading this foto once again in highest JPEG quality (12 in Photoshop) - but JPEG is only JPEG. It`s finging a photo always. It`s not a TIFF. It`s a pity.

Lovely butterfly I enjoyed viewing it very much.

This is a fabulous photo -- and the best in this folder by far.

I believe the "spotting" folks see is caused by photonet's jpg compression process. At lower resolutions you get these types of artifacts, especially around outlines of objects.
