Simplicity

I think many times in our lives we want nothing more than a sense of quiet 'Simplicity'....rid ourselves of the meaningless trappings we so often think are necessary for 'everyday life'....and just find some space to 'find' each other, connect, rejuvinate, and just 'BE'. Listen to the QUIET. Summertime offers so many times such as these. Nature is at it's prime. We can smell the earth, the flowers, taste the fruit of the vines, break bread with each other, feel the breezes on our faces, wonder at all the stars that decorate our night sky, and perhaps hear that far away lonesome cry of the Loon. Simple gifts, just waiting for us to take the time to 'untie the ribbon'. (thanks for dropping by, Gail)

I enjoy reading your different thoughts behind posting of your photographs.  When I look at this, it seems anything but simple -- everything timed and designed for survival, but each living thing singing its song.  I agree that when things quiet down, there is often more awareness of joy

Your prolog and the quality of the image are fantastic and the treatment of the shot is artistic. I think I like the feelign that it is ice blended water colour a technique where we use ice or salt to let the water colour create patterns and colour blotches and it is always impressive to me to see the formations.  The match of pinks and burnt umber also play well.  You have an artist eye for colour and tones.. Well presented and enjoyable to see...

Thanks for your recent comments on my simple design work it is appreciated.  Alway respected when you advise and comment and share.. MJ

From long time I discover that simple things is what make our life to be better or worse, most of time I find around so many example of simple things so well balance by nature, simple thing that enjoy ours souls with colors, shapes, perfume or sounds but most of time we are blind and go every day for more goods, money, etc, forgetting the essential of life and when we find the true again maybe is too late. But I am optimistic and like to enjoy with this simplicity every day, maybe one petals or a color or something like this can be so good for soul, hope I don't bored you with this,is just what I feel and think about this flower you present here too, have a nice day Gail.

Radu

Your lovely words about how you feel about life and how we often live it does not bore me at all. It is pretty much how I feel. This is a very different flower, not the prettiest with all the little curly things around the buds, but it was very different. The almost trumpet shaped blossoms caught my eye as it danced in the breeze, I thought it most unusual.

Sometimes it takes something so different, and unusual in it's beauty to catch our eye. It is not to everyone's taste I'm sure. But  I enjoyed what you had to say Radu, as I am sure other's will. We often get off track and the simplist of things can remind us  'just who we are' and what is important in our lives to keep us happy.

Thankyou for sharing those lovely thoughs with all of us. My kindest regards, Gail
