Why not just title it menstrual cycle and be done with it? Though I will say the rest of the print quality is very good

This is a very disturbing image, although well done. I can't say I "like" it, but the craft of it is evident. It would be interesting to know your thinking behind this.

thanks

the text on the blackboard translates to "I shall never again be mean/bad".
the story behind can be many things I suppose, but the idea is a woman having been raped (as punishment), and returning to school where it happened (some time ago). the location is an actual 1800 century school, now a museum. very hard to maneuver light here...

This is the first image of yours that I have seen. It is disturbing enough that it caused me to look at your entire portfolio. You obviously have learned the craftsmanship of photography; it clearly shows in your work. So I must assume that you were fully aware that the compositional placement here of the figure, dead center, is a static place where meaning and intent becomes confusing. That viewer confusion seems to be a tool you are using throughout your portfolio, but in different ways. I do not know whether you are photography's equivalent to Salvador Dali or a crazed Van Gogh or something else. It is clear that your images require the skills of an advanced reviewer to analyze your art. I shall look forward to seeing more of your work in the future, although I do not know whether I will understand it.

Jerry

your words are much appreciated, and even being mentioned in the same sentences as masters of art is special...however, I have a rather humble opinion of myself, maybe because I am self-thought and spend a lot of time studying the "real" masters of photography.
I hope to contribute more in the years to come, and again, thanks!

A very well crafted image, placing the subject in the center is well justified here as it brings the viewers attention straight to the point and then letting the viewer explore the rest of the image.
