The simetry works very good with composition. Tones and shadows are excellent. can i ask you how was the experience on this your first studio rent? I personally can tell gave you some added values to your compositions...

Very interesting image. The color suits the subject matter and adds a lot to the composition. Seems like the girl on the bottom is in a lot of emotional pain and is trying to separate herself from it, as shown by the figure above.

Love it...

Amazing execution of a great idea! The only suggestion I could make would be to have the arms showing on the background image - even with hands on knees and the elbows pointed upward, it could give it even more strength.

what is somewhat poorly conceived (albeit very well executed) about this idea is the obsession with symmetry. feeling depressed is anything but symmetrical and there isn't a guardian dual self to back you up. surprised the photographer didn't bother to part her hair perfectly (well at least he got that right). better just the figure without the symmetrical obviousness that calls attention to itself and lessens the photo. as it is, this is 6-A, 3-0.

excellent image~! I really love this one. Dubble exposure/tones/compostion/all. Nice~!

I like

Excellent, but fix the arms on the back shot. Maybe arms at sides, slightly open.

Actually, I feel GOOD after looking at this (not blue)! I wonder what it might have looked like without the second upright image. I think I might have liked it even better. The composition is so very strong "as is" that the upper image seems to detract. No? Kind of goes back to "keep it simple, stupid". Of course I ALWAYS fall into this same trap. Why? Because I can. :^) Anyway, that would make it a SECOND picture as opposed to this one - which is fine as it stands.

Just another rambling opinion.

Marvelous shot. But I would have gotten rid of the shoulder straps. The are too intrusive.

Fantastic image(s) here Ben. I've never quite seen something like this done this way. Bravo in all aspects of what you've done!

That second girl looks like a ghost and i love that. And the way she looks at the real girl ... is saying so much, and it gives you the creeps. Fantastic
