I like this photo and the manipulations. This could be a Christmas card
Derek Bumstead , April 28, 2004; 04:47 P.M.
Cool. How did you do that?
Gary H Sp , April 28, 2004; 07:50 P.M.
what do you think?
Hi Yannis. This is wonderful. Now, I selected the foreground via magic wand and applied a diagonal white-to-grey gradient...

@Gary
The size of the image that you inserted is too small and I cannot see the effect that you added with the gradiant tool. I will apply the effect on the original and see how it looks like.
Thanks a lot for your kind effort:)
Best regards

@Derek
I solarized the sky of another image and pasted the sky in this image (the original sky of the image was almost gray and without any clouds).
Then I added the moon, alterated the lighting condition with Paint Shop Pro and finally changed the ton of the whole image and adjusted the hue and saturation of the foreground

Lovely. It's really a well composte pic. I like it so much.
Jos Van Poederooyen , April 29, 2004; 07:21 P.M.
Yup...
The whole thing works. It's so well balanced and creates such a mood. It is beautiful. Having said all that, I think you could replace the man and dog with an old farm tractor or plow or something. It would make it more serene when it doesn't have the action of walking in it. Great Work!

hi
Beautiful concept and composition...I find it's a bit too far away from reality for my liking though.
Nice mood as well...

Thanks!
Yiannis,
This is a very nice result, and thank you for sharing the approach you took to achieve it!

i dont like it..
blacks aren't beautifull, no more nuances, and same for the white on the floor
and weird sensation on the tree
