I think it is a classic B&W shot. The geometry and shades are very nice. Good work. T

The patterns and the textures here make this a very appealing shot. Also like the tilt. Fine work!

Dear SUVI.,

You have a special eye and did a great job. 6/7 and my Portugues compliments for this orginal photo !!

I agree with all of the above. The figure, slightly out of focus gives it even more movement....

works for me, totally.

Oistein Thomassen , November 13, 2004; 09:55 A.M.

It definitely works! The lines contribute in giving this photograph a lot of punch. I really prefer the simplicity here. Tiliting the camera has also resulted in a slightly more dramatic scene.

Your Pic

Hi Suvi

Your picture is very well done - I especially like the use of lines, circles and positioning that works so well in directing my eye.

Thank you for not "messing it up" by altering your image too much. Sometimes less is definately more - this is the one of those times.

Well done 7/7

Everything i like in a picture

The feel, the angle, the light, the lines, ... great pic. JiPe

Effective Diagonal Composition

It is a very effective diagonal composition. Verticle lines in the left half of the photo give the feel of stability and stillness. The lines on the right half give a strong feel of motion. The position of the man has broken a rule for inducing a feel of motion; 'leave more space ahead of the moving object than behind'. Yet the sweeping lines ahead of him, appearing to merge at infinity give an impression of a long distance ahead of him. A nice photo composed of just lines.

I'd recognize that place even from the smallest thambnails... It must be the Tokyo International Center... I've been there and took many photos... This composition is very good... Congrats... Regards...

Great composition!!!

Very effective directionality that is supported by the contrast of black and white. The presence of the walker finishes off a very good idea ...

Hi

I think it is very well, the black and white mode makes it very special, Great.
