Tim
This guy looks more hospitable. I love the DOF and the detail of the moth. The detail in Large is unbelieveable. The composition is super. Nice capture!

Thanks, Jayme.
I'll try to find some more "soft-and-sweet" insects for the early stages of your therapy. Is there anything less threatening than this little moth? Thanks for commenting.

I still don't understand how you do it with the kit lens.
Great job, Tim!

Thanks, Allon.
I'm glad to know that I'm getting the most out of the kit lens. It's a joy to work with the new camera.

Moth is beautiful! And the background is beautiful too.

Very good close-up. Fine comp, sharp and clear. I hear a lot of bad stuff about the kit lens. Is it possible the folks having the problems are just not using the lens correctly? I use mine for many types of shots, and I like the results. I rate this shot 6/6, regards, -Jim.

This shot is good bokeh-wise and well composed. But this is way too soft. Focussing or lens issue. You have much better work elsewhere.
