perfect shot! very moody!

Azriel Abramovich , November 30, 2004; 04:39 A.M.

So So Day?

To me it looks super! I would like even less detail in the body of the model - her bathing suite. I like this image very much!

Bora Benic , November 30, 2004; 05:14 A.M.

Very nice scan.Cong.

Nice photo. The water droplets and sillouette make an interesting contrast.

Outstanding catch. Cheers, Sondra

"original shot!"

Except that this same "pose" has been published here before, twice if I recall. Well done nevertheless.

Bilal Zaheer , December 02, 2004; 12:16 A.M.

Exemplary!

something i've tried to do before and failed. you've done it to the perfection. the blue horizontal arch in the sky crossing the spiral of the splash enhances the affect further. Whats more amazing is that that spiral is continous right from the surface of the water all the way to the tips of her hair. Please do share with us how you took the picture. The tail end of the spiral still following the strands of the hair just like a brushstroke! 7/7!

Vasiliy Koval , December 02, 2004; 03:20 A.M.

very nice and dinamic picture!

Eddie Felix , December 02, 2004; 10:01 A.M.

Not a new idea but well executed.

Perfection

Francois Benveniste , December 03, 2004; 03:44 A.M.

Some explanations

The original picture. Quite a difference!

This image is almost totally natural. I just re-boosted the contrasts, did some re-inforcments and added some blue shades in the sky.I also cropped a little bit over the original.

The equipment is a Canon EOS 10D with a 28:200 lens. I shot at 100 ISO and a speed of 4000 with a 4 focal length focused on Elisea's body.

If you go to my site www.fbenveniste-photos.com, section "Elisea, le modele" you will find a version of this without he swin suit...

Thanks for your comments

the best i have ever seen

Jerry Matchett , December 04, 2004; 12:49 A.M.

One of the nicest attempts at this I have seen, even better than the famous one in Life Magazine, so many years ago. If you recropped to make the horizon horizontal you would have a perfect picture.

Gerry H , December 04, 2004; 05:39 A.M.

gorgeous 7/6

Francesco Ces , December 04, 2004; 05:09 P.M.

Natural and nice background FrancescoM

Marielou Dhumez , December 04, 2004; 11:37 P.M.

Certainement pas facile a realiser mais reussi !

Kjartan Haavik , December 05, 2004; 05:48 P.M.

Awesome! Love the lighting, the sky, the model and the water.

Peter Mortelmans , December 07, 2004; 03:15 P.M.

Variation on a classic theme, but very well done. Did you do any postprocessing. It looks like the sky has been lightened. Somehow it doesn't look natural, although I find it nice in this composition.

Al Li , December 07, 2004; 08:12 P.M.

Wow, what a beautiful shot. The detail of the moving water is wonderful.

Enrico Barone , December 13, 2004; 04:53 A.M.

great!

Joey Busse , December 14, 2004; 10:31 P.M.

great stop action

Mark W. , December 15, 2004; 03:34 A.M.

Well done effect, maybe a little overdone concept. The arms were equal looking like model has only one arm making the sillohuette....a little off. Sunset was very good though.

Pablo Villar , December 16, 2004; 11:07 A.M.

great!! the combination between water, sky and seduction is impresive. its movement makes it very armonious, and the light contrasts captures me!!!!

Matthew Heald , December 17, 2004; 02:45 P.M.

that is amazing 7/7

Paul M. Woods , December 19, 2004; 04:29 P.M.

A greater depth of field would really help isolate the subject and the spray of water - although with such a stunning backdrop, I'm not sure you'd want to lose the detail. Perhaps there are two photos here - one of the model silhouetted against the backdrop, and one of the model and the spray of water against a very out-of-focus background?
