Wonderful background. Subject is well lit. It would have been great if the subject's facial expression and body language was used in tandem with background to convey her state of mind. Also the perspective could been used to enhance the same.

I used my 10D and 28-135 lens and just natural lighting, What does montage mean?
Stephane Robichaud , December 05, 2004; 12:35 P.M.
Makes me think of a scene I could have seen in "The Lord of the Rings". Of more like a scene from the "The Silmarillion", from Tolkien. I like it very much. Specially the vertical composition since it make her look as she is about to reach the sky.

All I can say is wow! It is as close to perfection as one can get. The only constructive criticism I could give would be to lose some of the rock on the bottom. Other than that, the lighting and mood are perfection! 7/7

Beautiful Icelandic Spirit!
The only way to improve this would be to hang it on my wall. I especially like the amount of headroom above the model; this strengthens the impression of her soaring thought. Regards.

your great heida taken over dpc now your working on photo.net you are an inspiration and a montage is : A single pictorial composition made by superimposing many pictures or designs.
Charlie Xia , December 06, 2004; 11:36 A.M.
great job! i don't really care if this was photo has been photoshoped and made into a montage or not, as an image it works. i only wish the lighting of the model was more directional. IMO the flat lighting does not do the subject justice...

Angel Visions
Really stunning! I can't imagine why you are not receiving 7/7 straight across the board. BOTH original and composed wonderfully. As a final image it is simply divine and inspiring. The only thing that might get more attention is if she were looking into the lens. This might add more impact. But, really, all things said and done this is wonderful as it stands, Very nice.

Montage
Heida,
Montage in this situation means a picture made from a number of other pictures; it is often used for a series of images contrasted against each other in a movie for effect (the classic example being a shot of old women gossiping followed by a shot of clucking hens).

Strong image
Makes one wonder about the meaning. I see the angelic imagery but with that title I almost expect a more spirit-like image. Maybe somewhat transparent for the model. I do see some kind of Medieval princess with some kind of super-power. I like the image and the contrast in colors and imagery.

Angel ?
I suppose that angels have blond hair and fly far from tempest. It would give a touch of doubt to call your marvellous shot "Angel?". I don't care if the clouds are real or not, but if you were so lucky/skilful to do it live, then ... bravissima.

Wow.... your name tells me you are from Iceland? I could imagine the landscape on this picture actually coming from there, too... This is a fantastic shot with a lot of power as if radiating from the centre, from the lady on the stone.
Truly beautiful.
Martin Karlsson , November 22, 2005; 04:11 P.M.
fantastic angle and composition. Love the pose and the darkness of the photo, yet there's light. Also, I think it would have looked better if you "bleeched" the grass a bit...make the colors ?washed?

good shot
the elements that make it good are the long sleeve dress and the clouds.
Abnormal blacks make a surreal atmosphere yet her dress trasnfers the
spectator to a fairytale time and place. originality? = posed thats why 6.
The use of white dress and the whiting around the center of the image
makes the heavenly atmosphere from surreal to real as a bridge. Well done!
