What a beautiful photo, Loft.
Hope things will be okay soon.
Chandos Michael Brown , January 15, 2005; 09:35 A.M.
I've never understood the need to simulate a matted print in this venue. I'd much prefer to be able to see the image itself in the largest dimension that Photo.Net offers.

Hi Loft

Well i waned to view "the end 1" before the end2. So took the grand tour and there is no end 1. You should be reported! Is death headed virgin the end 1??...what a guy. :) And the end can happen once..i fell into that one.
Loft Portugal

prachtig!
Lieve groet vanuit Nieuwegein.

A very special way in executing this image. Charming & attractive in its unusual portrayal. I like it, Loft.
Kim Slonaker
, January 15, 2005; 11:10 P.M.
I'd like the image larger and the frame smaller, too. Very nice colors and contrast. You had me worried when I saw the title and then I read your comment!

Interesting photograph. I like the way you positioned the rose's stem along the length of the cranial suture. Perplexing title. Remember, an ending on one path becomes the begining on another. Regards.

Dear Howard...
indeed : something totaly different.Thats always our aim and " mission"
Thanks for vieuwing.
Jeff Henderson , January 17, 2005; 01:33 A.M.
Hi Loft. Nice image and concept as usual. I would have preferred more image and less frame! Hope this is just an experiment with frames so that in the future you'll be more inclined to show us more of the image you have produced.
Kind regards,
Jeff
P.S. Is that a skull?
Loft Portugal
, January 17, 2005; 04:42 A.M.
Yes Indeed Jeff.....
its a skull and next more " skull" and less frames., thats a promise
focus mankind , January 17, 2005; 06:33 A.M.
I like that concept. I recogniced the skull and that's why it works very well for me.
Sometimes a frame makes a photo unique, since the frame is part of a work, this is one of those - so I like to see those with the simulated frame - even the frame is huge.
congrats! focus

Focus Mankind
( I love that name/mission statement of yours)
The frame is a part of my message....if we'r dead our huge world still surrounds us and we are again "nothing" while the world turns on if nothing was happend.we only excist a split second.
Thanks a lot for vieuwing and your important comment

Hallo Loft,
Indringende foto. Heel erg mooi. De lijst is wat zwaar in tegenstelling tot de zachte tinten van de roos en (ja, wat is het, een steentje?). Toch vreemd genoeg past het een heel mooi bij het ander en vormt het samen een zeer bijzonder geheel.

Creative ... Creation .... !
Donna Albers
, January 18, 2005; 09:48 P.M.
the image and the frame work very well together as a unit. . . the boldness of the frame repeats the boldness of the hard shadow in the image. . . while the rectangular shapes contrast with the roundness of the skull. . .
