The Magnificent Seven
These seven (six mature and one imature) bald eagles where sitting on
the beach of Katchemak Bay near Homer in Alaska. I did like the curved
line they formed together and did take this shot....Best regards, Harry

I have never seen a picture having more than 2 balds and here are seven ! Only this makes it a fantastic picture for me !
Were they in a conference ? Is this a common sitght in Alaska ?
Good capture

This is very cool Harry. Except for two guys the others are very attentive in this meeting. Old guy on the left must be passing some real intersting information to the listeners... lol.
Equisite thoughtful composition and nicely exposed.
Kind regards.

Seen and not seen... that if that is luck... ideal, very original format but above all a great moment.
A greeting.

That is an excellent shot. The immature looks pretty scruffy. it must have been a cold and windy day.

How unusual to see them sitting there like this. Its almost like flock behaviour. I did not know they could be this social and it does make me wonder why as one can't see any obvious prey or even carrion. Any ideas? Wished it was sharper. Were you far away and had to subsequently crop down to a very small frame? In any case a moment well worth presenting. Thanks, one doesn't get to see something like this often.

Ah this shot so rare Harry. We counted 300 in trees one day near here within a mile but to see 7 together on the ground is unheard of. Obviously some meeting goin on. Well 7's... awesome pic and quality as usual.

Harry this is very interesting. Looks like a morning discussion about the things to do today. Did you make it in panoramic or later cropped the top and bottom to make it wide. Anyway a very good capture.7/6
Best wishes.

Thanks for the information Harry I thought he is the eldest. Do these eagles listen to the youngsters with this enthusiasm???? Well they sure seem to give this youngster lot of respect and all ears. lol ^_^.
Kind regards.
