Nice flower...
Of course, I like the colors and your special tones. A technical question : what do you use for your background ? Is it sheet of paper ?

Yann, Do you check every day my portfolio ;-)
I am glad you like my work.
Yes, here I used a sheet of wrapping paper.
I still need more equipment. But for small subject it works very well.
Regards Rina

not daily ! but almost...
LOL... I don't check your portfolio daily but several times a week, it's true.
There's too many photographers on PN to follow all of them. When I became member, you're one of the first I have visited so, because I like your work, I have a look on you frequently.
It's "funny" because your photo doesn't looks like mine, the style is very different. I try to be "open-minded" and many sorts of art go well to me. According to me, don't care of the style, the most important is eyes and mind have to be "delighted".
The others members I visit often don't shoot in the same way of me and of you. Each of them has their own "look". Difference makes also good relationships.
See you soon ! ;D

Yann,Technical perfection is not the main criteria for me to like a photo. A picture has to touch me emotionally and/or aesthetically. Sometines I even cannot tell you why I like a photograph. It could arouse me, evoke emotion and feelings. I found out that I do not want to make just a copy of what is in front of me.( Although sometimes I do it) I like to compose and create. I started seriously taking photographs some month ago, so I am still trying and learning.
Yes, to be open minded.. that is important and that is also my credo.

This works well, Rina. Detail, color, and overall mood are excellent.
