The 15th image in my smoke series.
I always like the serenity of the snowy aspen groves. This image is my
puny attempt to recreate that ethereal scene in winter in aspen groves.

There is nothing puny about this image. A lot of imagination and a lot of work, I assume, went ino this creation. This delicate and unusual piece is very beautiful.

Really, Mehmet. You are making me sick. I am just going to give up and smash my camera into little peices and go back to eating crayons or whatever I did two years ago before my camera ate my life. Every picture in this series is just better than the one before. Absolutely extraordinary. The white background is perfect ... you definitely need to work more with that (a very subtle pink or gold might be nice also, but it would be getting away from the BW). BTW, you hit the bullseye with this because I saw an aspen grove before I read caption or comment. Congrats on another fine piece. When will the book be coming out?

Bill, I'm glad to hear from you again - no need to exaggerate my work though, there is plenty of quality work around. Like everyone, I like hearing encouraging words, and that means a lot to me. Thank you!
2005 has been good to me in many ways, I hope 2006 has the same degree of mercy on me. Somehow I think I'll miss 05.

This is a brilliant path you're following...thanks for sharing it with us. These are truly remarkable images. I'm tending to prefer the black smoke on the white background for some reason....personal taste?

Mehmet, I hope you understand I'm not just blowing smoke (pun intended). There are tons of photographers I admire here on PN but I really think you are on to something special here. I sincerely think you should be looking for a gallery or a publisher if you are not already.
