Gaetan, Great photo.....nice composition and framing. I like the look of Color in the foreground and B&W in the background ,and you did it naturally. This photo looks like it could have been taken a 100 yrs ago. This photo makes me feel cold ,and It was 82 degrees here yesterday. Thanks for sharing it.
My fierst impression was the redish color of the man , his horse and carriage against the grey bg. , than the solitude of him in that weather, and the question why is he standing there as no customers seen at that time...
Very well composed Gaetan, has a special atmospher. Pnina
Dear Gaetan, I've come to trust you for spectacular photographs with your cooplix cams. Its a perfect, perfect photograph! Its almost a dream!
(Wish you a very Happy & Prosperous New Year {wish I could say that in French!})
A very beautiful image, suspended ... the colors of the subjects against the lack of colors of the background make the shot. Just a thing is out of place: the red triangle!
Gaetan, a beautiful image to add to your repetoire of winter scenes of this beautiful city. . . they are especially meaningful since I don't think I'll be seeing snow this year. . .
Never known that Quebec has such a beautiful old city centre. The snow underlines the beautiness of it. This is a wonderful picture and radiates the romantic sphere of the 19the century. Very nice work!
The composition is very good, it has that old medieval athmosphere, but that man does not make part of that. Personally I think I would clone it and make an white/black version for the photo! Here's down my version.
Regards,
I would like to thank you for your nice comment and also for the superb work you have done on my photo. Yes it gives a special old medieval athmosphere. The white/black version is well done and give that very special mood to the photo.
Again thank you, I would like to know and master editing photo like you.
I like it just the way it is. The atmosphere looks almost like a black and white photo, that's why the little red poking out makes it so wonderful. Great catch:~)
