Intimidating
Nice capture. The bug certainly looks intimidating, for sure! My only quibble is the bug is smack dab in the center of the frame. Still a nice shot tho. Congrats.

Great shot
great shot, everything is perfect, but i would personally crop it a little wider because its hard to tell if your clippin part of his right forearm off. beautiful bug.

En Garde!
Excellent capture and DOF as mentioned, and I agree with the possibly too tight a crop as well-but that is only a minor distraction for me.
Also mentioned were kung fu and Ralph Macchio, so I felt I ought to throw in my two cents, based on my minimal martial arts involvement. I believe Ralph's character was indeed incorporating kung fu into his "en garde" stance in the movie. As a matter of fact, there is a "mantis" style in kung fu, which imitates many different animals, and he was likely utilizing it in that scene. Having said that, I would submit that rather than "dancing", this little guy was getting ready to defend himself when he spotted the lens!
Regards, Craig
