Lady from Waikabubak's market, West Sumba, NTT, Indonesia

Always playing with B/W conversion. What about this one? Thanks

I really like the lighting and contrasts as well as the dof. Striking the lines on her face.

Wow! What a powerful depiction of age, Carlo. I love the treatment you've given this photo. Your work is always bellissimo! (pardon my Italian ;)

The lines etched on her face tells her story. A strong emotional portrait.

Absolutely superb B&W conversion. Her hair is really amazing, such texture is evident. Your convernsion has done much to bring attention to the character lines in her face. Nicely done. my one concern would be her eyes..I think it would be alot nicer to see a little lightness there. Is that an unfortunate by-product of the conversion?

Thank you all dear friends for taking the time to comment this shot! Bond, unfortunately her eyes were like that also before the conversion, you are right its a pity!

Thanks for replying Carlo, it's a very nice photograph and the B&W conversion is impeccable.
