You have distilled this photograph to its most elemental: shape, black and absence of black with tinges of grey =). However the elements which give the picture sense are retained such as the reflections in the water. A most distinctive composition

Kaushik
Wow!
I don't think there is any room for improvement on this.
Frame it , and Hang IT!
Very Nice.

What a creation! Haven't seen anything quite like this before. Great job, Kaushik.
Arnulf Johansen , June 25, 2006; 05:14 A.M.
Wow, this is really amazing, Kaushik! Not much room for improvement here. If anything, I would say that it would have been even stronger if the boat had been a little lower in the shot. Maybe this is just being a rule-of-thirds geek, but..... In any case: great, great shot! I'm pretty sure this is my favorite in this series.

I like the negative space Kaushik, delicate rendition.
Daniel Rice , August 26, 2006; 12:54 A.M.
Too negative
Too much negative space...Give the image a blah feeling to me. I like the mimalistic composition tho' - just too much storm trooper, steril, nothing white. Cheers!

The lack of a horizon works so well in this photo. I'm sure you've played around enough with this image to know what is best, but I wonder if the boat could be placed a bit lower to create more of a diagonal through the photo? Also, do I detect a slight grey edge around the boat leading to the tree? This distracts me a bit from the over all whiteness of the space.

painting-like, quiet, sufficient to itself, absolutely no need for strong colour-effects as seen so often otherwise ... great composition! Just great!

Great!
Best wishes, Nebojsa
