Photographer's Request for Critique

The multiple colors of paint on the old fuel tank are to cover the various graffiti tags that have been on it, but I think the colors add character.

Baerbel, PLEASE be aware that when I go out to shoot photographs that I DON'T SEARCH FOR these strange things that I end up taking pictures of! They find me, I don't find them!!! I go out looking for cute babies, bunnies and puppy dogs, but I get attacked by HERMAPHRODITES instead. I think I was born on the wrong side of the bed...

Yep, it's a tough world out there, Shawn, and the above creature really looks mean. You have my sympathies. :)

Great composition and colour palatte

The convergence of the rings of bolt heads also defines three-dimensional shape in a pleasing way. Must have been a pretty wide lens?

Jamie, the widest lens I have is 24mm and while it is very likely that I used it here, I really can't remember for sure. Many of the images that I post have been "staring at me" for months just waiting to be shown. This was taken in February 2006.
