Shuki, Alix, Daily,

Thanks.

I had to process two files from the raw shot because the statue was backlit, but like the "angry" atmosphere that resulted.

Andrea Endisch , September 11, 2006; 01:53 P.M.

atmosphere and face expression really fit - I just wonder what the sculptor wanted to tell us?

Spencer Jimmie Lee , September 11, 2006; 02:49 P.M.

He must be feeling cold. LOL Paula,I am as curious as Andrea as what the sculptor telling us?

David Orea , September 11, 2006; 03:27 P.M.

Vigeland Park

Andrea, Spencer, David, I read that Vigeland, the sculptor, created these 200 statues to represent humans in all possible poses and moods as well as stages of life. Kids can get angry and, to me, this statue really conveys the mixture of pain and anger you can see in children. His expression is priceless but, backlit, it was not clearly visble; That's why I worked out two versions of the file and the sky decided to get in tune with the kid:-) Thanks.

children aren't always 'lovely', 'cute' and so on. right? well fitting photograph! :-) (a symbol of luck for others? or why his hand is so... 'worn'?)

I see this and think of an ode to tantrums. The clouds add a dynamic feel.

Your ominous sky heightens the anger of the boy. Funny and nice captured shot, Paula.

Greetings, Ada:)

Thanks

different statues

Hanna, I think my friend told me, this kid, or parts of it, were stolen more than once and remade.

Richard, Amar, Biswajit, Cherlyn: Thanks. THis pic makes me smile; glad you, too, enjoyed it.

Wilson, Agree on the halo, though at first I thought it had a sort of bursting out effect.
