Well done! The first thing that strikes me is your good PS skills. It looks very professional! The second thing that comes to mind is how the colours holds together the different units of your piece. I am very curios on how you made the city in the background...It looks kind of cartoonish(?), which is exactly what I look for in my images...PLEASE let me how you got that effect!

Skyline...

Hi Andreas, for the skyline I use a real photo from a city at the other side of a river, which was tramsformed in B/W with the levels and contrast... realy easy to do. I hope I have been of any help.

Ik wou dat ik dat kon maken! Ik heb het al een keer geprobeerd, maar het lukte me niet. Ik vind deze foto heel erg mooi en apart! Ik ben pas begonnen met fotograferen ( ik ben 11 jaar ). Maar dit zou ik wel heel graag willen leren. U maakt eigenlijk dingen die niet kunnen, dat is het aparte eraan. Een vliegend kasteel! Als je daar in zou wonen! Ga zo door! Groetjes van Charlotte

Hi Ben,

I love your work. I am going to attempt digital art for a charity ball invitation. I have used PS for about 3 years but never attempted something more than the usual photography editing. What tips would you give to someone attempting this for the first time! Also how long do you spend on average for each image. They must take days!
